We live about a hour drive from the Gulf of Mexico (Grand Isle). Lots of depressing views on the way there, they were hit pretty hard by the storms last year, but once we got to the beach, it was beautiful outside and Ashton had a BLAST! He's a natural swimmer. Every time one of us went into the water, he was following. I had to hold him back when my sister, her boyfriend and my godchild went to the sandbars, he was not happy about it, at all. We were lucky to have found a place where we can let him run offleash. It was so much fun.
They aren't in sequence, just as they were thrown off of my camera.
I wish this one wouldn't have came out so blurry:
That is a trawling boat. Shrimping season! Cajun heritage at it's best.
My sister's boyfriend had Ashton's weakness......a Dr. Pepper bottle! He played fetch with Joey for a good 20 minutes. Joey got pooped out. (no worries, we took the bottle with us. No trashing the beach, there were enough dead fish.)
Ashton is a happy little dog who makes friends everywhere he goes. Today, he made the beach his own. He was such a happy little dog, running free at the beach.
