I just wanted to reintroduce myself. I joined the community a few years ago and left after awhile because I wasn't ready to get a boston terrier. I'm pretty sure I am ready, now, because I just finished grad school (I'm a librarian) and moved home to Portland, Oregon. I'll have plenty of time to housebreak and train a puppy while job searching from my computer at home. I just looked at a few different litters, one of which is ready in about 3 weeks, the other is ready now. It's going to be my first boston terrier, and I've read all the guidelines and the questions you're supposed to ask breeders and whatnot. I'm getting references from breeders and referrals from people in the know. That last one is you, my friends. Of course, I called the person from the BT club of Portland who refers people to breeders, but it's summertime, and maybe she's on vacation, so I haven't heard back yet. Do you guys know any breeders you know who are especially good or bad in Oregon (or Washington) that you can recommend or warn me to stay away from? Does anyone you know have a cute litter of puppies that I just *have* to see (in the area, of course)?
