Porsche has been growing well, and had her booster on the first and didn't flinch for the needle. The vet liked her, everyone likes her really, and she wasn't even particularly dozy after the incident. She also had her first mini road trip over the long weekend, and she slept most of the way, and didn't have an accident in the car. Very impressed doggie parents here.
A few days ago, Porsche has really started to chew things. She knows its wrong because when she sees us see her doing it she takes off. We will remove the item (unless its the couch) from her grasp and leave her dog toys for her to play with. To combat her constant getting into trouble, my fiancee filled a water bottle and will squirt her when she's being bad. He doesn't squirt her if she has an accident in the house, though - I just want to make that clear. It's more for if she's biting too hard, or is harassing the cat too much.
The thing is, when she gets a squirt she cries out like you're jabbing her with a rusty blade. It's just water, not acid, so I can't really figure out why she's crying about it. Maybe I'm incredibly horribly mean to her, but do you think it's really that bad? I thought it would be a better alternative to either of us trying to catch her.
We are not spraying her in the face. Or the ears. It's usually the bum/back. I've got enough sense about that ;)
And now a baby picture.
That's my brother, and it was about a week after we got her. Cute fat bear. :D
