the craziest dog?
Porsche is getting so big. I (barely) miss her as a teeny puppy. For the most part, she's stopped chewing absolutely everything, but if you aren't watching her, she goes into our front closet and takes one shoe of each pair and drags them into the living room. Because she's definitely showing us who rules the roost! She's taken the chewing matts out of her cat-brother, which is nice because her slobber is what causes them all.
One thing I find extremely odd about her is her water habits. She doesn't much like a bath. She doesn't like the water just warm, it has to be what you'd imagine almost-too hot for her is. It's something a human could comfortably bathe in for an extended period of time. Once she's in the warmer water, she's very content to sit in the tub, she'll drink the water (BLEH!!!) and splash around in her merry little way.
Last night my fiancee and I were in the bath reading (how romantic) and she came in, stood at the edge of the tub and cried to come in. I didn't want her to come in because I was a little worried that the water was too hot for her, but she insisted. My fiancee picked her up and put her on his tummy, where she licked all the water off his chest (mmmmm, dog slobber) and stomach. Eventually, she laid down on him, with her feet in the water, and she was lapping it up like she usually does in her own bath.
I think she just wanted to cuddle. She didn't seem to care that the water was warm, or that she was getting wet.
Please PLEASE tell me this is slightly abnormal boston behaviour!
