The "New" one
I got pics!!! Who wants to see!!

There he is, (these are pictures the people sent me) Unfortuantly, they won't let me have a "trial period" with the down payment, and I cannot bring him home until I pay the full amount. Look, freckles, just like Beasties!!

Here he is being crushed by the 8 year old daughter

And here is his sister, whom they are keeping, (I KNOW, doesn't she look just like Beasties???) She's 12 pounds, here she is being crushed by the kid

And here's a little size comparison (you can really see the handsome here)

Still having trouble thinking of a new name for him, I'll keep you posted!!!

What a handsome boy! I'm so happy that you will be giving him the love he deserves. I feel so bad that people would do that to him :( I feel bad for the other one too.

Agreed!

But I am so happy that you will give him a loving home. Shame on those owners.

He is such a cutie! I can't see from his pictures, but his sister sure looks like she needs more food - poor baby! I'm so glad you are going to be giving this little guy a better life - how could they do this to him?? :::sigh:::

Working in the field of work that I do, I understand sometimes people just cannot cope, and that's ok. They are trying to do what's best for him, and he's certianly be well taken care of, he's neutered, has all his shots, including his rabies and lyme disease, plus monthly all in one worm pills. They walk him several times a day and he has lots of toys.

But I know what you mean about the sister looking underweight, he's quite skinny too. I think it's because she's feeding them science diet, rice and chicken, and when I used it, i found there's just not enough protien and stuff in it, Beasties turned into a stick too

I'm glad to hear that's he going to live with you in his forever home - he deserves nothing less! :)

He looks like a very distinguished gentlemen. Maybe something like:

Sir George
Sidney Von Huesen
Wolfgang
Miles Davis
Duncan
Gomez
Loxley
William
Buxley

Just thoughts :-) I had a dog named Gomez and I really liked it, I had almost named him The Drake or Sir Drake.

He's so handsome! Glad you're getting him. What's his name now? Did they say why they were getting rid of him but keeping the other one?
kisstherain4mekisstherain4me on January 30th, 2007 08:13 pm (UTC)
His name is Sam, and no, they didn't say
tini_smomtini_smom on January 31st, 2007 01:10 pm (UTC)
Sorry I should have remembered his name as you already told us once (I'm kinda old and forgetful). No offense but Sam isn't a great name. I was only asking because I was wondering how hard it is to change their name after they already know it. The dog I rescued in Nov. was named "BooBoo" which I don't like at all. I shortened it to Boo which I don't love but can live with. He wasn't well taken care of and I didn't want to add to his stress by changing his name. Every other dog I've ever had has been a puppy so I wasn't even sure if you could teach a two year old dog a new name, can you? Do you have him yet and have you picked his new name? By the way....How is Beastie's hair problem?
