home made?

All of these recent recalls have made me very scared to feed my little guy! He's always mostly been on dry food (canidae since we brought him home) but after a recent vet visit, we discovered that he more than likely has a skin allergy. So now he is on a prescription formulated food, and it's incredibly expensive.

I was wondering if any of you make your little one's food at home? I've been trying to read up on it, and I've read a lot of conflicting things about it.

Also, what aobut homemade treats? anyone have any recipes?
