Has anyone gone through the dog training classes at Pet Smart and what do you think of them?
edit: I always forget that there are a lot of new people to this community who don't know Fizzy's history. He has a neurological disorder called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. He basically has no sense of balance, circles, runs right into things, frequently falls, and has something called intention tremors (he shakes when intent on something). I do not expect him to sit or stop pulling on the leash (he'd fall over if sitting and pulling on the leash is a lot better than just laying there). What I need is for him to curb the vocalization and listen to me. I also need him to not try to play with my mother who is very sick. Does anyone who has experience with the dog training at Pet Smart think they can handle his disability and will we get what we need from the classes? He is not a puppy, he is 3 years old and I have had him for 2 years this month. I have financial restrictions (I am not working as my mother requires 24 hour care), which is why I don't really have the option of personalized training.
