Gambit peed in the bed. Again. Why? WHY? I don't understand, he has never had a problem potty training and then that's twice in two weeks. WTF?????

I walked him at 7 pm and told my husband he needed to be walked again around 10:30 or 11 at the latest. But the dog was sleeping so my husband didn't take him out. I saw Gambit wake up and stretch out on the bed and play with his toy, so I called Chris to come walk him - only to discover Gambit was lying in a puddle of fresh pee.

He didn't make any noise or go to the door like he usually does when he has to go. He wasn't trying to get my attention or was upset from being ignored, because he was asleep and then just casually laying near me playing with his toy.

So - does he have a problem? Did he just leak it out while playing? That's the second time he's peed on the bed, and I just noticed his dog bed that we keep in the living room, which I take down to clean once a week, smells like urine, so he has gone in it in the past week and no one noticed because I don't check his dog bed for pee because he doesn't really use it, except to store toys in.

Is there a disease or an illness that can cause him to suddenly start peeing? He has always been super excellent about house training. At first I thought he was peeing out of anger, because we might be ignoring him. But not three times, that's not possible. So I'm calling the vet, but I'd like to hear suggestions...?

It's been a hectic few weeks at work and we're getting ready to move and maybe he can sense my stress?
