Instead of a crate, she has a small room with a shut door on one side and a baby gate on the other. She doesn't mind the room too much, but of course would rather be wherever her people are. However, I don't think that she's established that it's HER room - she has relieved herself, in both forms, in her room a few times now.
Really, I'm just having all kinds of issues with her potty training - she likes to go outside and stand around in her designated potty area and then come inside and go directly on a rug or in the corner of a room. Now, I know that the carpet and rug have not been pee'd on before her, as they were installed a few months ago - and she's not going in the same spot, even on the rugs. What is going on?!
She gets taken outside about once an hour when somebody is home, but every time - without fail - she waits until we're back inside to do her business. Does anyone have any ideas?
