Amy Ben
Amy is a seven year old Boston/Chihuahua mix who was set to be euthanized at the shelter when Boston Buddies rescued her. Amy has gone through two surgeries: one to repair a hernia on her abdomen and spay her and another to repair two high grade luxating patellas. Boston Buddies has spent over $3,000 in vet and boarding fees caring for Amy. You can read Amy’s story here Special Needs Buddies
Ben is a one year old Boston boy who was brought to the shelter unable to stand or walk from his major injuries. Boston Buddies rescued Ben and got him to our vet where he underwent major orthopedic surgery to repair multiple fractures in both hips and a severely fractured left leg. To date, Boston Buddies has spent over $3,500 in vet fees for Ben – and he still needs to see the ophthalmologist and possibly the veterinary neurologist.
