Advice please? (Keeping those ears warm!)

Hi everyone! I'd welcome some advice. Virginia and I walk a couple of miles each morning, and lately, with the change of temperature and the wind, her ears have gotten a little chapped (just like my lips!). I'm trying to decide how best to dress her for our morning walks so that her ears are protected. (Her current coat doesn't have a hood.) Should I get a hoodie for her? A separate hat? Something else altogether? Does anyone have a foolproof cool-weather walking outfit that's great for a Boston's ears? Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you!
