Pickle
My husband's sister doesn't have a job (she's 20), so we've been giving her 25 bucks a day plus food and bus tickets to come to our house and take care of Gambit and Daisy while I'm at work. It was only going to be from May 25 until June 25th, which is when school is out. From 10 until 2, so she had the rest of the day to herself. Then when I'm off school she was going to grab a summer job and go from there.
So she called us last night and said "I will be late tomorrow, and not able to come until 12, because I have a job interview."
So we were a bit shocked. I was home sick today anyway, so it didn't matter much but she just e-mailed me and said "I am going in at 11 tomorrow." And I cant' get a hold of her. I guess there goes our babysitter.
So with zero notice I have no one to take care of my puppy who is, at 10 weeks, far too little to go from 10 to 4:30 by herself. I can't take any more time off work. In September, when she is 5 months old, yes, she can go 6 hours alone. But not now! What can I do? I'm so so so so so upset that we were let down like this. Even a puppy sitter service wants to meet the dogs, arrange times, takes a bit to get back to you. I am screwed.
