We talked to Lulu's Dr.
Basically he said that what happened to Lulu was a FREAK FREAK FREAK thing. He, nor any of the other doctors have EVER heard of a Boston Terrier having Renal Dysplasia.

He said we are correct, both parents must carry the gene in order for the puppy to be sick. He said even if both parents do carry this recessive gene it is a 25% chance a puppy in the littler would get ill. That is why just my sweet Lulu got ill and her 7 siblings did not.

He said the chances of our puppy getting sick like Lulu are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slim. He was SOOOOOOOOOO excited for us and thought it was so great we were getting Lulu's half sister. SO YAY FREAKING YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
