I'm not sure how to go about this, but i posted a blog about 4-5 months back about one of my dogs having cushings disease. Well on tuesday the 16th we had to put down one of the best dogs i ever had. we thought that he was getting better but about 2 weeks ago he stopped being interested in his stuffed monkies and his infection on his arms started coming back. then on saturday he stopped eating, by tuesday he no longer could walk. that was what finally made it to where we knew he no longer could be kept in this condtion. it was probably the hardest thing i've ever done but i knew that we could no longer allow him to live like this. he was suffering and it wasn't fair to allow him to be like this. the worst part is any dog can get it. its more common for bostons to have it and its more likely they will get it when they are older. some of the symptoms include a bloated, pot belly stomach, lost of interest in activities, changes in behavior, large consumption in food and water, straining in urination and frequent urination. other symptoms can include loss of muscle mass, and secondary infections.
