BOSTON BUDDIES 2009 CALENDAR
IT IS TIME TO START SUBMITTING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS!
Post your entries in the community - make them no larger than 500x500,
but keep the original size because for printing quality, bigger is better.
Make sure the
subject line says
BOSTON BUDDIES CALENDAR CONTEST ENTRY
or something similar - in caps PLEASE.
Only ONE ENTRY PER MONTH PER DOGGER is allowed and you MUST SPECIFY WHICH MONTH.
Each dogger is only allowed to be featured for one month... but don't let that stop you from entering for every month!!!
EVERY ENTRY will be in the calendar!!!

The ENTRY DEADLINE is Friday, October 17th at 11:59pm CST.
Verification of entries will begin late Saturday, October 18th and end on Sunday, October 19th at 11:59pm CST. All entries will be posted on the 19th so please check and make sure your entry is there!
VOTING WILL BEGIN on Sunday, October 19th at 11:59pm CST.
VOTING WILL END on Sunday, October 26th at 11:59pm CST.
IF we have a tie we will hold a tie breaker beginning on Monday, October 27th at 11:59pm CST and ending on Wednesday, October 29th at 11:59pm CST. A tie means either two entries have the same number of votes for one month OR one or more doggies have been selected for more than one month. If we have any months with a tie in the number of votes AND any of those doggers also have the most votes (or ties) in more than one month, the tie breakers will be held separate, with the voting for the number of votes being first. All voting for these stages will last only 24 hours.
CALENDARS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ORDER THE FIRST WEEK OF NOVEMBER.
- Voting will be done using an LJ poll, and everyone can follow the progress because the poll will be viewable by all.
- We will be using our Cafe Press store... calendars will be sold AT COST unless you would like a customized cover - with any photo(s) and/or text on the cover. For those we will add $3 to go towards the annual fee required to post more than one calendar. Not to be complicated, but to be completely fair, IF we raise more than the annual fee with the $3 surcharge on those orders, will be divide the extra money between all personalized calendars and you will have that amount as a credit for next years order.
- Screen shots will be taken at the end of voting just in case people vote late or if anyone questions anything.
- This is completely for fun. We are not out to make a profit. Yes it would be great to charge for each entry and make the calendars ourselves and donate all profits to a rescue group... but that is not what we are here for. Rescue groups do their own calendars for that purpose and we encourage everyone to find their local group and support them. We do this calendar because we are one big family and we LOVE to see each other's babies on our walls!!!
