Today is Daisy's birthday! She's half Boston Terrier half Pug and now 6 years old. I can't believe she's that old.. but it also makes me realize how much I've accomplished since I got her.

So I took her to Petsmart for her birthday tricks and treats! I bought one of those laser lights because my friend's cats go nuts over it and I asked the lady about dogs, and she said they'll be just as crazy for it.

Daisy is unresponsive. She's only interested in what is in my hand. She only noticed the light a few times.. and I'll do it all around her and it's like shes oblivious to it or maybe just doesn't care.

Is there any special way to get them to notice it or is it more like they either get it or they don't? Any tips before I take the thing back?
