Pumpkin Carving...
I wanted to thank eicnan for the pumpkin carving ideas. I took the pattern you posted and did a little variation of it to look more like my Boston Frenchie. Frenchie's tongue always hangs out because his teeth are crooked. I was amazed! It turned out great for my first attempt at carving a pattern. Thanks for the idea and the pattern!!! I bought a bee costume at WalMart for Frenchie, but he is such a fatty now that it was a little too tight! Did anyone get costumes or have costume ideas????

Capella went as a witch but the last velcro piece wouldn't go. It's so hard for me to get things to fit her properly because their chests are so large compared to the rest of their body.

I did one of those pumpkins too!

Costume & Carving...
Your costume is very cute! Frenchie has gotten a little "thick" all over and looks like a little piglet! My husband showed me some costumes in the paper from Target... I may go there. Your pumpkin is cute too! I can't believe how well they turned out. I have never really carved a pumpkin like this. I usually do the usual trianges for eyes and nose, then put a goofy smile on it. Thanks for sharing!!!

Re: Costume & Carving...
Good luck finding one! Ours was from target too. They have them in the pet section and back in the human costume area too.

That came out awesome! Check out Toys R Us. Their pet costumes have a little give through the tummy. I have the bunny suit one and it's stretchy material.

my hubby & i are going as Morticia & Gomez Addams & our bostie's name is Wednesday so we're taking her to the little shindig we're going to :} I am making her a t shirt that resembles the babydoll dress Wednesday wears & putting her name on it. hehe.

Your pumpkin looks great btw! We are hoping to do one too!!

Your costume idea is so cute!!! I love the Addams Family. What a cute idea for Wednesday. Did you originally name her after Wednesday Addams? You could put "Thing" on Wednesday's back, or a small cousin "It". Wow, this is a great theme. I hope you lots of fun

I bought Frenchie a costume tonight at Target, a bee. I am going to post a picture in a minute of him. The pumpkin turned out better than I ever expected! I had never really tried to carve one like this before. My husband was impressed!!! And, that is hard to do!

She is named after Wednesday Addams :P I wanted a boy to name Pugsly but my husband was dead set on having a girl so that's why we settled for Wednesday. In the future I will get my Pugsly!

I saw your post with your little bee! sooso cute!!
