Hi there!

I just realized that I've been posting here for like, a week & I haven't introduced you guys my babies yet. How rude of me.

This is Beans(left) & Pigg Penn (or Pork, if you like. right).
They're big boys. Very big. Freakish, even. I believe somewhere back, they must have been mixed with a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, perhaps. Pigg is 28lbs, & Beans is 32lbs. Solid muscle.

I rescued both of them (& my Great Dane) from a pet store. I kinda just went in & started demanding & threatening, on three seperate occasions, & came out with dogs for free. The boys were being held to be "SENT BACK TO THE BREEDER" because Beans, while at the store, had been injured by another dog(thankfully, it was only a superficial wound), & Piggy has stenotic nares, an elongated soft palette, & luxating patellas in both
legs =(

My dane had the worst case of pneumonia I've ever seen. We had to carry her out of the store & tube feed her for a week.

... Who knows what would have happened to them. I'm glad they ended up with me. They're my life<3

So that's my babies. They send you all many Oinks & Smooches!
I am feeling: boredbored
I am listening to: all out war-destined to burn

Aww they are precious. I'm glad you saved them. I always feel bad for the bostons at petstores. :( I love the angle of the picture showing off their 'great white mouths' as my husband and I call it lol. I want to give them smoochies back!

oh my goodness!!!

Our situations sound the same! Wilbur is 27 pounds.... and he's from a pet store that I used to work at. He came in with a terrible case of pneumonia. He stopped eating. And the store was going to send him back. I worked in the kennel and I have never in my life imagined owning a Boston.. but I didn't want the other puppies to get sick and I felt bad for the little guy so I took him home and never brought him back. Told the pet store that he can be considered my thank you for not letting the other puppies get sick.

I can't imagine life without him.
I love that pictures of your lil ones!! They're amazing dogs!

handsome boys
If you're boys are freakish large, we won't discuss my Sky King who hovered somewhere between 35-37. (doc wanted him kept around 35 at which point he was deemed not the least bit overweight or unhealthy)

and of course good job in rescuing them.

Oh your boys are adorable!
Oddly I call my dogs Reggie and Henry, pork and beans, one of their 1000 nicknames!
Nice to meet your pups.
