Update!

Thanks for all your suggestions and comments.  I tried to feed him the dry again this morning with no luck.  I decided to add a bit of canned wet food to the mix (just a spoonful) and he ate it right up!  What a picky little bugger.  Maybe we'll do a bit of the wet food for awhile.  Last time we were able to ween him off of it pretty easily, so maybe we won't have to use it forever.  What a weirdo dog!
