From your Boston_Buddies founder and her baby Winston Bair

My husband thought I should update you all on Winston's health. Lately he's been to the vet quite a bit. He's been "fainting" a lot. Winston's vet says that he thinks he's not getting enough Oxygen to his brain and when he get's excited he faints. I gotta tell ya, it's freaks me out every time it happens. Friday I took him to a doggy specialist and he had an ultrasound done on his heart. He has fluid around his heart and lungs and has a leaky valve in his heart. He's been on lasix for about a week to try to drain off some of the fluid. It's seemed to help him a lot. Monday he starts another medication to help his little heart.

On another note:

I almost forgot about the Boston_Buddies Location Map. If you haven't already put yourself on our ClusterMap please feel free to do so. It's on the Boston_Buddies User Info page. I can't believe how many members we have now! Over 800! I may not post very often but I check in on this page almost everyday. I have really enjoyed all your pictures and stories over the years.
