i didnt mention that i am a photographer,
& as much as possible I like to take Wednesday on location with me to keep everyone amused!
she makes the most stressful jobs enjoyable!

here we are waiting for the model!!

here we all are, getting down to business.

wednesday!
& here's Wednesday wanting all of us to pay attention to her instead!! hehe.

wednesday & i
she also makes a great stand in for metering lights!

i am waiting for the day when i can take some studio shots of her,
but everytime- she spazzes a little at the flashing lights.
i'm hoping going to work with me will get her used to it!

If the flashes are the problem, try without. With what I see on the pictures above there should be enough to have a good setup without using strobe. :-)

i have a set of hotlights but i hate them! i prefer photo'ing spastic little creatures with strobes- its just so much easier!

I get mine in ambient light instead :-) even though she seems to tolerate the bounced flash (on camera)

Your Pup is adorable! I love that you bring her with her to shoots. I'm a photographer too and have wanted to do that. How often do you bring her with her? Does she just hang out during pictures? Do your clients mind her?
astro boy toystarlitziggy on February 1st, 2009 04:08 am (UTC)
it really depends, i usually have one or two assistants who can watch her while i am working. on this shoot i didnt realize that the model was terrified of dogs- so we had to make sure she stayed on the other side of the room. It also helps to bring a play pen. You can generally tell too when a client wouldn't mind having dogs around too- usually if they act like they have a stick up their bum than I don't bring the dogs :P I don't always go on location though- I shoot in my studio a lot where if she is a problem, i can kennel her.
