Are they THAT attached???
Sooo....I was going to the bathroom and sat on the toilet and Ziggy's head pokes in.

LOL, why is it that they feel a need to follow you to the bathroom??? I know they don't know that it's a bathroom, but it's so funny to me that no matter what my two Bostons are doing, they will stop and follow me into the bathroom.

It's hilarious when my male Boston, Chief, pokes his head into the bathroom when my hubby showers...yet Ziggy doesn't even move when it's my hubby going.

I had another female dog when growing up and she would do the same thing. Follow me into the bathroom and sit on the carpet waiting for me until I finished.

RANDOM post I know...I just found this amusing and wondered if your dogs do it too?

EDIT: It's been great reading all your comments! I'm starting to think it's a pack animal thing, lol. I'm 15 weeks pregnant and whenever I'm head first in the toilet, I've got two furry heads doing that cute confused head tilt thing right next to me. It's always good for a laugh after such a horrible moment.

Yep. Hurley tries to make himself at home there, and doesn't understand why he can't climb up into your lap...

Smudge is good about keeping out, but once I'm done and I open the door, she's always RIGHT THERE staring at you, or she sticks her nose under the door and all you hear is loud snorting while you're trying to pee.

She did it to my fiance today, he cracked up.

Gambit doesn't let me do anything alone. He even jumps into the shower if I don't lock the door ( our doorframe is cracked and sometimes the door will not shut all the way and he barges in). Daisy will just rifle through my laundry, eat the carpet and leave. She doesn't care what I'm doing.

Hahah...Chief will randomly pop his head through the shower curtain. I must admit...I almost had a heart attack the first time he did it!

Tuffy follows me in the shower. And he licks my legs when I get out. Pretty creepy.

I leave the bathroom door open because the dogs ALWAYS want in when I am in there. they just sit in front of me while I'm doing my business. LOL
tinaguppietinaguppie on February 3rd, 2009 04:06 am (UTC)
If I close the bathroom door, but don't actually latch it, both of my dogs will push the door open and barge right in.

They must think it is only fair, since I am always supervising them when they are going to the bathroom!
Joannamiss_upsetter on February 3rd, 2009 04:30 am (UTC)
yup. Bella will sit between my feet while I pee and guard the door while i'm showering. Don't know why, but i find it funny!

my boston always wants to come sniff around when we are using the toilet.. unfortunately our litterbox is in the bathroom too so that makes things extra exciting for her! hehe..

now my cats are so attached to my hip, they will try jumping in my lap when I am using the potty so I have to remember to always shut the door so I can have my alone time. hehe.

Lulu does this, too. She also jumps onto my lap and sometimes will stand in front of me and jump up and put her paws on my knees.

Usually I play the, make a loud random noise and quick hand gesture game and she'll spazz and run away and then come back for me to repeat until potty time is over... lol

My old house, the doorjam on the bathroom door was damaged, so the door could be pushed opened, and Beasties would just bash her head against the door and walk right in, Sam quickly learned it too, and they loved doing it when company was over.
