update on my co-owner opp

I ended up passing.

The pup's sire had so much inbreeding in his pedigree I wouldn't be surprised to find him sitting on a Appalacian cabin porch somewhere barking to the tune of  Dueling Banjos.

And she in turn planned to breed her with him.    I politely declined.
