teething
my puppy is losing his milk teeth.  Any suggestions on how to ease the pain?  When our first boston lost hers, she loved chewing on a cold wet wash rag, but this puppy doesn't seem to like that.  The only thing he's really chewing is a rug bone, and i'm afraid he's going to yank them out and it will hurt even more.

Any suggestions are welcome!

Re: get a kong
we keep a kong in his crate, he seems to have no interest in it...he likes fabric-y stuff. He has chewed my hubby's PS3 controller thumb pad up, so if i could just find something that consistency lol

What about a puppy teething toy like these:
Pet Stages Cool Teething Stick
Pet Stages Puppy Cool Teether
I'm sure I've seen that brand at both Petsmart and PetCo.

lol first off, love the icon
that stick we actually got our oldest boston...she didn't play with it until she was older and had her teeth, we called it her 'baby toy'

now the ball...i may check that out. I'm gonna try and get by petsmart tomorrow cause i don't want the little guy suffering, i'm sure it hurts cause it hurts humans.

Thanks for the idea!

Take one of his favorite stuffed toys, soak it & freeze it! A sizeable stuffed animal will take forever to thaw out so he can chew it all day.
