Halloween Is Coming....
Hey Everyone!
I love Halloween. I love to dress our dogs in costumes. Does anyone have any creative ideas on costumes? Last year I bought one at Target and Walmart. But, I would make one if I could visualize a good costume. Also, thanks to the people who posted ideas on pumpkin carving. I carved one last year and it turned out great! Any new ideas on pumpkin carving would be appreciated too. I have posted a picture of Frenchie in his "Busy Bee" costume and the pumpkin I carved of him.

Thanks. We love him to death. We have 3 dogs, but he is our favorite. He had such a rough start, I think that is why he is so special to us.

This was my first attempt at carving a pumpkin. I think it turned out well too.

I just picked up a turtle costume from Target. Last year after Halloween I went around to all the local Targets, Toys R Us and PetSmarts and got Halloween costumes on clearance so in addition to the turtle I might dress Banjo up every night the week before Halloween.

Check out Me On A Pumpkin. You can take your dog's photo and make a pumpkin to their exact likeliness. It's more time consuming but if you're got the patience it's not that hard. Also you can cheat and get a foam pumpkin from Michaels so you can use the pumpkin for years to come to make the extra time worth your effort.

Thanks for the tip. I got this idea from this site last year. This was my first attempt to carve a pumpkin and I think it turned out well... at least for me! I may take your advice and do a foam pumpkin so I can keep it from year to year.
