Hey guys! How have you all been?? I know I've been promising more pictures, but it seems that my digital camera decided to take a crap and stop working right. It turns on but the screen is black, rather than showing what is in front of the lens. I don't know if that's very clear, but trust me- it isn't working. Somehow I did manage to take some pictures of something I am pretty proud of... Click on the cut for pictures and an explanation :).
Somehow I got the inspiration to make a doggie necklace! Even though my baby is a BOY, I found the prettiest flower charm and the idea just popped into my head. The charm itself is a reddish pressed flower on a black background, with little diamond-like stones and black stones alternating around the outside. The necklace is made with silver metally beads and black faceted ponybeads. I found cool beads that were real stone, but I thought maybe they would be to heavy so I opted for light plastic pony beads, which still look fancy since they're faceted ;). I apoligize for the pictures not being very close-up and sometimes not even very clear, but enjoy the adorable model they are on and don't mind the dirty floor- he was standing in front of my guinea pig's cage for some of them.. I had just given her fresh fruits and veggies so she was jumping all around spilling bedding all over my floor! hehe. Annnnyhow, on to the pics!

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?? What do you think? I'm working on getting my camera to work again so I can take a close-up. I think it's gorgeous. It's not perfect but for a first shot I think it turned out great. I've been dying to do something cool and crafty-like for doggies and I think I may have found something I enjoy doing, I'd just like to get some other people's opinions on it :).
ps- As I type this Basil is staring intently at the guinea pig cage, quietly whinining because the piggie is too scared to come out of her bed for him to see her! Too cute ♥.
