Anybody's boston sleep with its tongue out? Frito just started doing it about a year ago, the vet suggested a teeth cleaning which didn't seem to help. I dont think hes in pain its more funny than anything because when he wakes up its all dried out and sticks straight out. :)

my parents bulldogs do that. I love the dried out "tater tongue" lol. I think it has something to do with their jaw structure is why it hangs out. Your baby is adorable!

my Boston used to sleep with his tongue sticking out..but that was because it was actually too long for his mouth ^^; my boyfriend asked us one time if we thought the reason Peanut kind of spazzed out after waking up from a nap on the floor was because he could taste the carpet.

I don't think it does them any harm to sleep like that, just the mild discomfort of dry tongue lol, kind of like those of us that end up sleeping with our mouths open by accident.

My puppers Rhett does this. I think it's because his tongue is too big for his mouth :( He will wake up and it will be all dry and he'd do the smack smack to try and get it normal again haha

Frenchie's tongue hangs out too. His teeth are crooked and his tongue hangs to one side mainly. That is why we named him Frenchie. His tongue does dry out and the more tired he is... the longer his tongue gets. We laughed so hard when he saw him at the Humane Society, we couldn't help but take him home.
