So I've heard of brindle, brown, and white Bostons, but I've just recently heard of blue and champagne. Does anybody here have any blue or champagne Bostons? :)

Ive heard about them, but ive also heard it isn't good for breeders to try to breed them bc of how they go about getting the colors. I dont know much about it, i just heard its not good...

I dont know of anyone who has one. Ive seen that web site with Lola on it a few years ago.
There was an add around my area that was selling them about a month ago.

I guess it's kind of a genetic mutation, like the reds. I've been researching breeders and the dilute colors don't conform to breed standards so most literature you read will tell you not to buy from a breeder that breeds these colors together, because it means they don't care about "bettering the breed". So most of the off colored dogs come from puppy mill type places. Sure there are exceptions to this rule, I know of a conscientious breeder that breeds both reds and the blue/champagne dogs. But some other breeders would say they're not conscientious just for that reason.
