Questionnaire!
What does your boston like to chew on?
Here I mean non-toy and non-food.

My Gimli apparently loves to chew on ANYTHING.
- He's chewed a hole in the squirt gun I use on him.
- He chewed the end off of one of the "arms" on my glasses & popped out one of the lenses.
- He also likes to chew on my coat tree in the living room and has pulled two "arms" off.

*sighs* He's a brat but I love him.

SO....... what does YOUR boston chew on?

I am feeling: amusedamused

my bostons dont really chew! its weird. They do however LOVE to get in the trash and spread it all around the house, and anytime we give them a chew toy it is ruined within 10 minutes!

The only chews I have are food chews. I'd like to give him something that he won't eat. am thinking about getting a nyla bone.

jack chews and destroys many many things. his favorites are anything with tags. he likes getting his teeth in there and i think he likes the ripping sound that it makes.

his dog beds are always ruined. we will find him with the stuffing all over the place - he's gone through 4 and he's a year and a half.

and he likes to eat money. $100 to be exact. 5 twenties. luckily, if you have most of the money pieces, you can bring it to the bank so they can exchange it for you.

yes.

LMAO Banks will give you intacted bills for ones that were chewed up?! That's funny.

The Destroyer.
Plastic bottles. We cannot sit and drink a 20oz. soda without Charlie going almost crazy begging for it. He likes to twist the caps off and chew on them.

He's also a big fan of pulling the stuffing out of any and all of his toys, dog beds, etc. Thankfully he hasn't figured out that pillows have this stuffing in them...YET.

Cardboard boxes and toliet paper rolls are other favorites, especially the cardboard roll inside the toliet paper. I finish a roll of paper and he sits there knowing it's his new toy.

Re: The Destroyer.

Yeah, my Daisy girl will chew on/destroy anything she can get her little teeth on. What's more worrisome to me, though, is that she swallows a lot of it too. We've had to become very very vigilant in keeping potentially dangerous things out of her reach.

We keep her toy box stocked with healthy chew things. She eventually destroys the stuffed toys but there are still a few that she's got. I've been replacing them with chew ropes and harder rubber items that she can chew and tug.

I want to get Gimli something he can sit and chew that he does eat like he does with fake pigs ears.
Was thinking about a Nyla bone or a kong

Suggestions?

I really don't think you want to know. hehehe

Stitch recently got into my daughter's dirty clothes pile and chose a pair of thongs!!! (She is a dancer and cannot wear panties under her leotard but sometimes you just must - yes, TMI but I had to explain why I let my daughter wear thongs!!!)

Stitch also likes to eat the new grass we just put down and Lilo likes to eat the wall - yes, the wall.
selenamoonstorm on June 11th, 2004 10:27 am (UTC)
HAHA How does Lilo eat the wall???

TEEEEEEEHEEEEEEEEEE!! I was told Buddy likes to chew on women's underwear as well so I'm prepaired for that and shut my laundry up in a closet. :D

emma loves to chew on me: my zippers, buttons, my fingers. She also sometimes chews on rawhide bones, or stuffed toys. She doesn't have many teeth anymore because she lost so many from the neglect she suffered before she came to the SPCA and I adopted her.
Bo used to chew on everything, his toys never lasted long. He loved frisbees, we would buy them and there would be plastic all over the house and it would be destroyed within an hour.
selenamoonstorm on June 11th, 2004 10:51 am (UTC)
awwwww poor Emma. Buddy is missing a few teeth. I heard one of them was pulled out by my boyfriend's ex girlfriend when she was playing with him. So now I'm super careful when I play tug with him.

Wow. Loves plastic do he? LMAO

Gims seems to be picky with what he plays with.

Lady Killer chews on a bunch of things:
-Her baby (its a powerpuff girl stuffed animal, thats been patched with duct tape)
-Kongs (I saw someone else mention them)
-Tennis balls (she rips the green off of them)
-Garbage (if she can get it)
-My chocolate lab's tail (tail envy)
-My chocolate lab's lower jaw (if she's holding a toy that she wants)

Sky doesn't really chew that much... maybe once in awhile (like once a month for a few days) he'll pull his Nylabone out and gnaw.. and he really likes the dentabones and Booda Velvet chips (which he eradicates in about 2 minutes) he hates his Kong....pays it absolutely no mind....he has eviscerated a few unsuspecting stuffed animals...

...my brother and sister have started giving Charlie racket balls. They entertain him for hours 'cuz he loves to chew and walks around the house with them. Eventually they pop out of his mouth and he gets to chase them all over again. It's like playing fetch, only humans aren't required (though he still loves to bring them to us).
