"Students' Dogged Pursuit in Reading"

GAITHERSBURG, Md. - Ross, as the students call him, embodies a new breed of reading teacher in public schools. He's great with kids, patient, and likes to have his ears rubbed. He's a dog.

Every Tuesday at Washington Grove Elementary, students who struggle with reading get a private session with Ross, an Irish Setter, or with Tucker, a Golden Retriever.

For about 30 minutes, each child reads to one of the two trained therapy dogs. No teachers or other students are in the room. The animal's handler guides the lesson, but even she poses her questions as if the dog is the one who wants answers about the story.....

National Dog Show

I don't know if this is a repeat or not, but the boston won best in group. I'm cheering for her for the rest of the day. The announcers were rooting for her throughout the group. yay bostons

Edit: Pippa the boston from Philadelphia did not win best in show. I'm looking for pictures of the little cutie though. Best in show went to the Colored Bull Terrier.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way I have a question for breeders and those living on the east coast (North East). Could you recommend a breeder for a friend of mine? I'd like someone who is repetuable, and the people in this community seem to know quite a bit. I've been checking petfinder but the closest boston I can find is in North Carolina. The breeder that I bought Lady Killer from is in Arkansas and I've lost her information (so if you know of breeders from Arkansas let me know).

Any help, phone numbers or websites, would be appreciated!

Here's a recent picture of my little pig dog, I haven't posted pictures of her in a while. This is her suckling on her "baby."
