One of the presents my brother got me for christmas came in this huge blue bag... I mean huge. Weird.. but he said they actually shipped this item in this huge bag in a little box...

anyway, I brought the bag home... and cliff pretty much made his own home out of it.
he's spent more time in or on this bag that out of it since it's been here...
so, I got some pics to share:

Well you northerners will hate me, but it's probably 75 degrees with all the doors and windows open. It's a perfect nap day for Mom and Smudge (on my bed of course...)

Today we were taking down the Christmas tree, and despite all the presents Charlie got, his favorite ones today were the ones that have been laying around the house forever, including an old shoe of my dad's. Figures he would prefer those over all the new toys!

I know this is totally off topic but so many people are in this group I was hopeing someone might be able to help. For Christmas my parents gave me this really great gift, one of the best gifts I have ever gotten. I got an easel, canvases, and about 100 different paints. Mostly watercolors, but I got oil and acrylic as well. Here is the problem, I have never painted in my life and I can't seem to find any instructional sites on line that appear to be any good. I got a Barnes and Nobel gift card as well so i was going to go purchase some books - any suggestions? Anyone out there paint? My dad is really pushing for me to take an art class as well, so I just might. But any hints or suggestions anyone has would be great.
