lump
‎Has anyones Boston ever have one of those growths that can come behind their ear? I believe my vet said it could be a histiocytoma or possibly a cyst but it looks more like the other from what I have seen on the internet.
Any advise if yours has had it removed. Thanks!

have you had it aspirated? it's a good idea to aspirate any lumps that stick around for more than a week or two, as bostons can be prone to tumors. usually they're nothing, but my elly had one that turned out to be a mast cell tumor that needed to be removed. she has another one now that appears to be a histiocytoma and is now finally slowly going away after a few months. if it doesn't disappear completely i'll probably have that one removed too just to be safe.

that said, it's most likely a cyst, like you said. but it's always good to check!

Smudge just had her 4th mass cell tumor removed. Always get those things taken care of ASAP!
