Today is a sad day

I didn't plan on making a post today but I got to looking at pictures of Lulu on flickr and wanted to share some of my favorites. It's been four years since she passed away and we are still so emotional. She would have been five years old today and she passed away at only two. She was such a sweet girl and we miss her terribly. Clementine is Lulu's half sister and that does bring comfort to us knowing she shares the same blood as our sweet girl. These pictures were taken long before I even knew what a dslr was so please excuse the quality.



Awhile back my 365 photo project prompt was “One joy scatters a hundred griefs.” This is what I wrote about it:
The dog in the painting is Lulu Belle. Our boston terrier that died in 2007. Clementine is Lulu's half sister. They have the same dad. Losing Lulu Belle was probably the hardest thing I have experienced in life so far. Clementine brings so much joy into our life. Because of who she is and also knowing that she shares the same blood as our Lulu Belle. Thank you to my wonderful cousin www.flickr.com/photos/ebiggs/ for coming up with this idea for me.

Last but not least I wanted to share a video montage that someone made for me when Lulu passed away. I can't thank this person enough for making this video for me. It means the world to me and is something I truly cherish.
