my dog macy has a long tail like that too. :)
Ha ha so cute! Does she wag it? It looks normal to me
Oh yes, and very fast too. It wags at an angle, almost straight up and down. The 2nd tail pic, you'll notice it's blurred around it, that's because she's wagging it.
No, because it's got that famous BT kink. Smudge is a sweetie!
Bahhhhaha! That's the cutest tail!
It's so cute, see the little bald spot right at the base? We don't even know why it's there. Always been there. She wags her tail nearly up and down too, or at a very tilted angle.
Maybe the bald spot is from the way she sits? I notice that Ash gets this bald spot on his tail during the summer time.
Smudge is a cutie. I like longer tails they cover their * hole. But no mater I love all bostons.
She is SO pretty.. and her tail cracks me right up. :)
Daisy's tail is like a little flap that's maybe two inches long, just long enough to cover up her poopy chute. And she's never ever wagged it. She doesn't even shake her booty wag-style. I read somewhere a while ago that sometimes there's nerve damage or maybe just a nerve-related condition that prevents some dogs from being able to wag. Daisy also has luxating patellas (which we haven't been able to fix yet due to no extra funds), and I'm wondering if that's related -- maybe having to keep her legs extra-straight when she walks and stands, almost locked-kneed, prevents her from tail/butt-wagging.
tail looks normal to me
she's a doll
she's a doll
My Bman has a full tail, but he's a BT mix so maybe thats why, even though the vet said he is probably part Frenchie and they have no tail either. LO> :)
I agree with everyone, it's still a kinky (heehee) Boston tail! Some purebred Bostons have an ever longer tail, like what a "normal" tail would look like. But that's because of their bulldog and terrier mixed beginnings. Just like their noses--some bostons noses are longer, which reflects the terrier side, and some very squishy, which reflects the bulldog side.
yay! I'm glad to see other screwy tails, I thought Griffin was deformed for a while. That was until we met a Boston breeder in PetSmart and spoke to the vet. Griffin has a VERY whacky looking tail - it's semi-long and bent like someone slammed it in a door. I'll have to take a pic and post it.
