curiousI'm new to boston buddies. I dont have a boston yet, but i am going to get one in January after i finish up with grooming school. I've always loved the "smushy face" dogs. English bulldogs are my favorit. I've done a lot of research on dogs, and the Boston terrier seems to be THE BEST first dog for me. Well, i've always had dogs in my life, family dogs, this will just be MY first dog... you know what i mean. teehee!
So anyways...
I'm starting a list of boston breeders in California, the closer to the bay area the better. If anyone knows of any Awesome breeders, let me know. I want a breeder who only has a couple litters a year. I want my puppy to be as close to AKC show standards has possible.
Everyone tell me about your bostons! We're they easy to train? do you leave them at home? do you have one or more dogs in your house? any major health problems you had to deal with? what's your dogs personality like? tell me ANY THING! oh, and names! i need to think of boston names! for a girl.
My future dog will come with me to work, at a doggie daycare(in home, no kennel daycare). Will either be with the other daycare dogs or with me in the grooming salon. I want to take her every where with me, but might need to leave her at home while i go shopping(i cant leave her in a car). but she will be with me about 90% of the time. Should i get more then one? I was thinking about getting her a buddy maybe after she is 2ish. we'll see...
