Harley got her spay surgery and in addition they fixed the small umbilical hernia. They didn't send any pain meds home with her cause they didn't feel they were needed. It seemed when I picked her up that she was her old self, just with stitches on the belly. She did grunt here and there, and as the day went on she seemed like she was in more discomfort so I went back for some pain meds to use over the weekend as needed.

Question: Anyone who had their pup spayed, knowing how Bostons are, how do you limit their running/jumping post surgery? She seems to not want to take it easy and it's hard to keep her from doing things that she has done all the time.
