Has anyone here been growled at for disturbing "your highness" sleep?

I am feeling: amusedamused

Only once. I think was more scared or startled though, because once she realized it was me, she went into a wiggly livking fit.

Well, I guess it's my fault.
When she starts to get comfortable I start to pick her up and she just growls. This morning was the biggest ever. I was so sad.

oh you will be forgiven so fast :-p Lucy does it when she is napping and we poke her to move. then she pouts but comes up later with "i'm sorry" kisses.

I am hoping I get some of those when I get home because she just looked reaaaaaally pissed at mom :(

I put her on a chair to put her harness on and she got all comfortable and then all of the sudden I picked her up to put her in her play pen and there it was....louder than ever...GGGGGGGRrrrr...

Not for disturbing sleep--we get evil stares for that--but for not giving him people food as we eat.... *shakes head*

All.The.Time

It's Gertie's 'signature' of sorts:

Picking her up: "GrrrRRRR"
Disturbing her sleep: "ArrGGGrrrr"
Throwing her toy: "GGGGGGRRRRRr"

She's not really growling though, even though it sounds like it...it's more like she's "talking" - she's a very vocal pup.

I think you are right..it's more like talking than growling.
They are so funny.

Sometimes if Roxie's in a deep sleep and there's a sudden loud noise, she jumps awake with a grrrwoof! And looks around, then plops back asleep!!
