Hello all.
Looking for some advise...

For the past two days Misty has been bleeding from her gums (around her fangs mostly).
I thought it was probably that she was playing too rough at daycare or chewing on something hard but right now I can't really tell what it is. I brush her teeth all the time which makes me wonder if she could have some sort of gum disease or something.
It doesn't bleed all the time, it is mostly a once in a while thing but it has been going on for about two days or so and I mostly notice it when she is playing with her toys. She is drooling blood at night while sleeping as well.

Any thoughts...please?

Appreciated

She is always chewing on ropes and stuff.
One of my co-workers just suggested that maybe the medication she was on she she cut her paw might have done it..as a side effect.
I am going to call the vet in a little bit and ask.

poor baby! it COULD be from chewing, but that doesn't explain why she is bleeding when she isn't playing. let us know!!

Is she a puppy? My pit bull bled when she was losing her baby teeth when she would be teething on her rope toy. It stopped soon enough, though. I'd call the vet just to check.

No, she is about 1 yr 8 months..
I think I will..just in case its a side effect from some antibiotics she is done taking.

thanks :)
