suspicious.....

Someone's comment on my last post got me thinking....I had said that I was getting free AKC papers in exchange for the inconvenience to me that waiting another week for Sophie is going to cause....the breeder felt bad so she offered me the AKC papers free of charge, when originally she offered them for an extra $50 and I declined. I accepted her free offer, but then this comment got me thinking. I checked out the guidelines for Boston breeders, but they had nothing to say on the sale of AKC papers. Does anyone know whether breeders are allowed to charge for them? I mean, know for SURE? I don't want to make a move on this unless I have some proof that she was actually not allowed to charge for them in the first place; if I get that proof, I will know she is an unethical breeder and I probably need to withdraw my sale. Thanks!
