Most of you by now know that I'm getting ready to open a local in-home bakery for healthy dog biscuits. Part of what I need to do is pin down 4 healthy recipes that I want to sell. I say only 4 because that's all I can afford at this time. Ya see...I have to register every product that I'm selling. Each recipe will cost me $45 annually so you can see why I want to make the best out of my money. I'm pretty sure I have my recipes picked out, but I need your opinion on some of the ingredients.
Here are my questions:
1.)
*I have one recipe that calls for Brown sugar and one that calls for Honey.
2.) I have two recipes that call for vegetable shortening. Is there something else that I should use in place of it or is this the healthiest thing I could use?
3.) I have one recipe that calls for Beef or Chicken Bouillon. What do you think would be better to use? What would your doggie like the best? Mine don't really care. LOL.
4.) Ok, I need your total honest opinion on this one... If you were in a store looking at healthy treats for your doggie and you saw something with the name "Cheddar Cheese and Garlic Dog Cookies" would you think twice about buying them? If yes, then why?
Well...that's all for now. Thank you for helping me. My main goal is to make our doggies smile by making them healthy treats. :)
