Amy, who is 8 years old.
She was very unhealthy as a puppy. My family went to go buy a boston terrier and we found her in a box left to die. The breeder just figured she had no chance so we rescued her. A month in the vet and about a thousand bucks later she was well enough to bring home with us. My other dog we had at the time Maggie (who passed away in august 2004) and her became best buds and there was no looking back. We knew we'd never own another dog that wasn't a Boston.
After Maggie passed we went back to the same breeders house to buy another puppy. We couldn't decide which one we wanted so we ended up coming home with two.
Meet Lucy and Ruby.
She is probably the most high maitenence dog I've ever owned. She has some really bad seperation anxiety. Anytime someone leaves her alone she chews something up (which is pretty normal) but there is just something about her thats different. For example, at night she has to sleep with ALL her toys in the bed. If she loses one she will run around the house frantically until she finds it. Despite her mental issues we still love her :) She gets most of our attention because it seems she needs it.
The only way I can describe Ruby is by saying shes a real DOG. She loves playing in the dirt, eating bugs etc etc. Basically if anything is disgusting Ruby is all over it. Shes such a lover though, she loves to cuddle and she snores really loud when sleeping.
Well i look forward to posting more pictures in this community. It was nice meeting you all :)
I'll leave you with a picture of everyone cuddling
